Description
Introduction to
fabrication and welding terms. The scope of this module is
to introduce the student to general fabrication principles
as well as the importance of Quality Assurance in fabrication.
The topics also includes welding symbols and welding drawings
for fabrication and welding joints.
Handling of stainless steel in the fabrication environment
are discussed and special problems arising from mixed material
handling will be presented.
General observation related to health, safety and environment
on the shop floor level are introduced.
