Welding of Stainless Steel: Module 5

Description

The module is split into two, a practical part as well as a theoretical part. The practical part will allow the student to assemble the material pieces into an assembly.
In the theoretical part the topics for this module will be welding consumables for stainless steel as well as shielding and backing gases for welding. The welding consumables and its classification is also a part of this module. Storage and handling of consumables are also an important topic.
At the end of the module different welding methods and its requirements for the fit-up and assembly are discussed.
