Description

Tack welding. This module is again divided into a practical welding task as well as theoretical tasks.
The theoretical tasks are related to the welding equipment itself and discuss topics like rules and regulations, electric shock and how to prevent it, emergency procedures. Health environment and safety around welding itself are highlighted and discussed.
As introduction to the coming welding activities in module 7, the welding imperfection and their causes are an important topic as well.
