Enabling technology

“Enabling technology” aims to provide high level information on the underlying information and knowledge management technology on which the MECCA portal has been developed. The information targets technical personnel; however it is presented in the form of overview of technology which can be of interest to wider audiences. Information on knowledge management technologies, including ontologies for the effective organization of information, and digital libraries for online access of content, is presented in a user friendly manner.
